“Jeep” U.S. Army truck, ¼ ton, 4x4 Command Reconnaissance
Overview
This jeep was donated to the museum in June 2021 by General Star Carey, U.S. Army (Ret.), and his wife, Captain Sandra Carey. The flag featured on this jeep is a personal flag for a brigadier general in the Army. A personal flag is flown at a station or put on a car to indicate the rank of the officer attached. The background color of the flag indicates the branch of service and the number of stars indicate rank.
