The Summer Institute for Teachers offers educators, particularly those teaching 5th-12th grade social studies, a unique and immersive experience like no other! This five-day professional development program gives educators the opportunity to engage in:

• Ten expert-led sessions that explore teaching World War II in
  the Asiatic Pacific through cross-curricular lessons, activities,
  primary sources, and more.

• A hands-on workshop that dives into the digital archives and
  teaching with artifacts to develop Discovery Boxes.

• Learning experiences intended to deepen your knowledge and
  understanding of the Pacific War and its enduring impact on
  the modern world.

• Networking opportunities with fellow educators to share
  ideas, strategies, and resources.

• Toolkit building to return to your classroom with lessons,
